Senior Product Manager

Job

* Technical leadership and management.
* Server side programming with client side scripting (javascript, CSS) as needed
* Provide support to entire team by developing functionality needed to create new web applications and features.
* Identify areas that require improvement and recommend/implement solutions.

Skills

* At least 5 years of related experience with creating a business web application and managing the full life-cycle from conception to delivery and operation.
* 2+ years experience with Ruby on Rails and web applications.
* Proficient in Rails, Javascript, CSS, server side programming and implementation.
* Understanding of basic accounting/bookkeeping (credit/debit), and modules (Invoices, expenses, payroll, etc.)
* Proficiency in database design, modeling, MySQL.
* Experience integrating third party tools and applications.
* Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

 
UI designer (part-time/contract)

Job

* Create an innovative new user interface for our web-based app.
* Interview users and develop processes and prototypes, create art work and work with technical team to implement the user interface.
* Improve existing interfaces and create new ones with HTML, CSS and Javascript libraries.

Skills

* Demonstrated experience building web-based applications.
* Strong portfolio of business applications and websites with good design principles.
* Client side javascript, CSS, and scripting.
* Experience with user-centered design and good interaction skills with customers and stake holders.
* Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
